Kathy Keehn
Kathy was gifted an exquisite handmade quilt as an infant from Great Grandma Duffy. This quilt always was special- a hug from a great grandma she didn’t really know. Thus began her fascination with quilt piecing and design.
As a 4Her in junior high, Kathy became adept at sewing with precision and vision and was thrilled when chosen for the state fair.
Her quilting journey began in 2012 with a Block of the Month pattern. Quilting opened up so many unforeseen benefits- self expression, camaraderie with many diverse souls, opportunities to gracefully learn while building artistic skills as well as the gift of overcoming natural introverted tendencies while encouraging others on their journey. The artistry of quilting, though, remained an obsession.
Kathy had utilized her domestic machine to quilt for several years. In 2020, she was delighted to invest in her first longarm, beginning the journey to building skill and confidence. That journey continues. Sharing the delight in this craft with her daughter Erin has been an unexpected and abundant blessing! She is thrilled that you are part of their journey.

Erin Keehn-Majeske
My journey with sewing and quilting began at a young age. At just eight years old, I fell in love with the craft, which led me to compete in sewing as a 4-H’er and later to start a sewing club in high school. There, I created my first quilt on my domestic machine, marking the beginning of a lifelong adventure in quilting.
After years of sewing on my domestic machine, I transitioned to the world of longarm quilting in 2022. This shift has allowed me to explore new dimensions of quilting and offer a broader range of custom designs. My passion for modern quilting shines through in every project I undertake, blending contemporary techniques with traditional craftsmanship.
Sharing the love of quilting with my mom is one of the more special things in my life. I feel so grateful for the opportunities quilting has given my creative side. In addition to quilting, I work as a board-certified music therapist and homeschool.
Thank you for joining us on this quilting journey. I’m excited to collaborate with you and make your quilting ideas a reality!
